El vídeo d’aquí dalt mostra la repicada de timbals que van fer ahir uns joves italians (del “grupo Storico Gitta di Tano”) en plena celebració del cap de setmana de Besalú Medieval…
Si el coneixeu sabreu que el casc antic de Besalú és preciós i sense fer-li res ja té una estètica diguem-ne de pessebre. Pel que vaig veure, el Besalú Medieval consisteix precisament en aprofitar aquesta estètica, omplir-lo el centre i la zona baixa del riu d’activitats i atreure com més visitants millor disposats a passejar, tafanejar i és clar comprar una mica.
Al pont hi havia moltíssima gent, a mi en filosofia em recordava una mica la gentada que vaig veure fa unes setmanes passejant pel pont de Praga. O la que passeja cada dia per les Rambles. Sobretot catalans i francesos.

Quina preciositat que és Besalú, una joia del patrimoni cultural català…pel que fa als timbalers italians…els hi agrada molt la parafernàlia, a aquesta gent! Els timbalers aragonesos (sobretot els de Calanda) són igual de bons, però no els agrada tant disfressar-se com als amics italians! Fins i tot els carabinieri van amb tota la parafernàlia pròpia d’aquelles contrades, per no parlar de la guàrdia suïssa!
