Al crit de “Un desallotjament, una altra okupació” unes tres-centes persones han participat aquest vespre en la presa de l’edifici buit de Gran Via 550, entre Casanova i Villarroel costat mar. Hi havien arribat en manifestació que provenia de l’edifici okupat a Urgell/Floridablanca (La Carboneria) i que ha passat per l’edifici desallotjat aquest matí a Casanova 17, seu de l’autoanomenada “Universitat Lliure la Rimaia” -on venen realitzant des de fa mesos cursos de formació professional. Semblava que la manifestació havia de seguir recte per la Gran Via en direcció a plaça Espanya però els okupes han fet com un dribling a la policia i mentre uns feien veure que seguien els altres han començat a okupar.
Quan l’edifici de la Gran Via ja estava okupat i penjava la primera pancarta del pis més alt, unes noies han llegit un manifest amb megàfon i assegudes sobre dos contenidors grocs: “Amb prudència i moltíssima il·lusió intentarem tornar a obrir un espai per totes, perquè n’estem fartes de veure com manipules les nostres vides. La lluita continua, recuperem els espais buits i omplim-los de pensament, de reflexió i d’acció per aturar aquest projecte que tenen, el projecte de treure’ns dels nostres barris, dels nostres espais de trobada i posar-hi aquesta ciutat aparador pel turistes i pels lobbies empresarials. Ja és hora de dir prou, recuperem els nostres barris, la nostra vida, juntes podem, cap agressió sense resposta!”.
L’acció de la nit era seguida de prop per furgonetes de la Guàrdia Urbana i dels mossos. “Què fa l’Ajuntament? Especula i desallotja!”, “I les immobiliàries? Exploten el barri!” i “Qui sembra la misèria, recull la ràbia” eren altres dels crits que han sovintejat. I el nou edifici, heretarà el nom de la Rimaia? No ho sé encara, ho veurem els pròxims dies.

Això mateix, endavant! Aprecio molt la tasca que han estat fent aquesta gent des de LA RIMAIA, demostrant-nos que hi ha altres maneres de fer les coses i de plantejar l’educació. Així que m’ha sabut:
A- molt greu la notícia del desallotjament
B- d’allò més bé la notícia del nou edifici
I gràcies Guillem perquè si bé coneixia el desallotjament, no tenia ni idea de la nova okupació.
PD: Resulta més pràctic seguir el lema d’”Un desalojo otra okupación” que el de “Un desalojo, un policia cojo”, i ho celebro!
